Debt Check – 24%
It’s Halloween!!!! These past couple weeks have been crazy busy for me. BUT it’s #MoMoneyMondays and I at least wanted to give an update on my journey to becoming debt-free.
As of October 31, 2016, I have paid off 24% of my total debt! At first I thought, man….24% doesn’t sound like a lot, but then I looked at it from a different approach. I started this journey six months ago with nine separate debts and now I only have five left. It’ll be four left at the end of next month! Roughly, a quarter of total debt gone in six months?? I’ll take it! Woo!
With the holiday season approaching, posts are going to become bi-weekly and much shorter LOL. Of course I’ll share my tidbits along the way on various financial topics and what I personally think about this or that. But I need to plant some seeds now so that in the New Year, I’ll have something even MORE exciting to share.
